I am a mother of 4, ages 28, 25, 20, and 16. I have two granddaughters and a step son age 6. My whole adult life I have always strived to maintain a certain weight. I would start any fad diet out there to lose the extra pounds. I tried pretty much everything there was to try.
With most diets I tried it was about deficit, that resulted in me being really hungry. None, I found easy to stick to, none of them sustainable. I love chocolate wine and carbs so anything that had to cut these things out didn't lat very long.
I found as I got older that although the scales said the same number my body was more fat. I knew this constant yo-yo dieting and the aging process was lowering my muscle mass. But I didn't know what to do about it.
Energy slumps were a big problem for me and I relied heavily on coffee to get me through the day. I was addicted to coffee. I also suffer with IBS so a bloated stomach had become the norm for me.
When I discovered PFC every 3 it all made perfect sense to me. Eating every 3 hours suited my lifestyle perfectly because I eat A LOT to keep me going all day. I knew very quickly that I could do this for life. I have a confidence around food now that I didn't have before. Knowing I'm eating the right things to fuel my body. And the science behind it. I no longer have a bloated stomach and I now have bounds of energy without the coffee!!!
